The Dallas Opera Job Opening:
Part-Time Ticket Sales Representative (20 hours per week / $7.50 hr)
Positions Currently Available: 2
Term: Permanent and Seasonal Available (August – April)
The Dallas Opera seeks an energetic individual to be an integral part of the sales team for the 50th Anniversary Season. Responsibilities include answering inbound sales inquiries and customer service requests, contacting former patrons with new ticket offers, ticket fulfillment and mailings, data entry and general office.
This is an excellent opportunity for students and young professionals looking for an entry-level position in non-profit management and the arts or for professionals looking to re-enter the work force in a part-time only capacity.
Requirements: Professional phone skills, MS Office proficiency, desire to provide outstanding service to patrons. Some evenings, weekends and performances will be required. Bilingual in Spanish and/or prior ticketing / theater experience preferred, but not required.
